A viral video captures an ICE agent shoving Monica Elizabeth Moreta, causing her to scream and fall to the ground, while her husband and children were present at a Manhattan immigration court at 26 Federal Plaza. The husband had just attended an immigration hearing and was being detained when agents told him to let go of his daughter's hand; he refused and the situation escalated. DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin described the officer's conduct as unacceptable and said the officer has been relieved of current duties pending a full investigation. ICE has not provided an immediate update on the man's detention. Moreta went to the hospital for evaluation.
