Six weeks earlier, Senator Mark Kelly and five other members of Congress released a video described as reckless and seditious and intended to undermine good order and military discipline. As a retired Navy Captain receiving a military pension, Captain Kelly remains subject to military justice and accountable for his conduct. The Department of War has initiated administrative action including a review of Kelly’s activity that could lead to a reduction in his retired grade and a corresponding pension decrease. The review process allows 30 days for Kelly to respond and will conclude within 45 days.
