After two killings in Minneapolis by federal agents, employees at Alphabet and other tech companies publicly demanded condemnation of federal immigration enforcement violence. More than 200 Silicon Valley staffers published an open letter urging tech leaders to call for ICE's removal from U.S. cities; the letter grew to roughly 1,000 signatories, including employees from Google and Amazon.
