Groups of federal agents repeatedly chased people on foot through the streets of Broadview in ongoing vehicle traffic. Around dusk, Agent Bovino and a large team of fatigue-clad, tactically equipped, and masked federal agents escorted multiple federal vehicles out of the ICE detention facility."

That afternoon and evening, federal agents chased people on foot through active vehicle traffic, escorted federal vehicles from the ICE detention facility, and deployed pepper balls, rubber bullets, and teargas canisters at protesters. DHS reported eleven arrests over September 26–27 protests in Broadview, with only five individuals criminally charged. Federal actions were cited as showing regular forces could address the protests.
