A similar incident emerged in Florida, where Abel Alexander Carvajal, secretary of Miami-Dade County Republican Party and a law student, created an official WhatsApp group for Republican students at Florida International University. The chat rapidly filled with racial slurs, antisemitic content, and derogatory language targeting women and minorities. Within weeks, the N-word appeared over 400 times, and members boasted about driving away a Black Republican activist through slurs. One member described the chat as "Nazi heaven."
