The chat produced roughly 2,900 pages of messages exchanged between early January and mid-August. Messages contained slurs, racist and anti-Semitic content, white supremacist symbols, rape jokes, Nazi praise and violent threats, including explicit references to Hitler and gas chamber threats. Peter Giunta, a former New York State Young Republicans chair, created the group while campaigning for national chair and later resigned amid separate allegations of financial mismanagement.
