Full transcript of Barron Trump's 999 'lifesaving' call to UK police - as call handler told him 'stop being rude'
"Oh I'm calling from the US, uh I just got a call from a girl, you know, she's getting beat up,"
"This was happening about eight minutes ago. I just figured out how to, how to call someone. Uh, uh it's really an emergency."
"Can you stop being rude and actually answer my questions. If you want to help the person, you'll answer my questions clearly and precisely, thank you."
"I didn't expect her to pick up due to the time difference,"
Barron Trump called City of London Police from the United States reporting that a woman he knew was being attacked during a video call. He said he had met the woman on social media and that the incident had occurred about eight minutes earlier. A call handler told him to stop being rude when he appeared frustrated answering questions about how he knew the victim. An email from the caller described what he saw as "very brief indeed but indeed prevalent" and noted a shirtless man answered the phone. Matvei Rumiantsev denies multiple charges including assault and two counts of rape; the trial continues.
