Fox News Anchor Fails to Push Back When Don Jr. Says Only Left Commits Political Violence
"Donald Trump Jr. claimed that political violence in America is going one way on Friday in an appearance on Fox, to which host Martha MacCallum provided no pushback, and moved on to her next question. Appearing on The Story With Martha MacCallum to talk about the Wednesday assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, Trump Jr. told MacCallum that he believes the reports about all of the trans-propaganda inscribed on the cartridges in the rifles."
"The Wall Street Journal, which initially reported transgender rhetoric was on the bullets, has come under fire since updating its story to say it may not accurately reflect the messages on the ammunition. Charlie's crime was talking about God, family, country, Trump Jr. continued. When the left realizes that they're losing arguments, they resort to this violence. MacCallum attempted to interject, saying, You know, Don, and then laughing."
"It does not, Martha, he said. The violence is going one way. I have had to deal with three shootings like this to people really near and dear to me in the last 14 months, and I'm getting sick of it. MacCallum immediately followed with a question about the inscriptions found on bullet casings from the alleged shooter, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, offering no pushback to Trump Jr.'s comments. Watch the clip above via Fox News."
Donald Trump Jr. said political violence in America is going one way during an appearance on Fox and received no pushback from host Martha MacCallum. He addressed the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and said he believed reports that trans-propaganda was inscribed on rifle cartridges. The Wall Street Journal updated its reporting and acknowledged the account may not accurately reflect messages on the ammunition. Trump Jr. said Kirk's crime was talking about God, family and country, and claimed the left resorts to violence when losing arguments. MacCallum laughed while attempting to interject and later asked about inscriptions on bullet casings without challenging Trump Jr.'s claims.
