President Donald Trump phoned into Turning Point USA's AmericaFest while Donald Trump Jr. addressed the crowd and held up the phone so the audience could hear him. Trump praised individuals named Charlie and Erika, claimed victory "in a landslide," thanked attendees for voting and canvassing, and joked about firing his son if the speech did not go well. Don Jr. told the crowd of roughly 30,000 young attendees that the movement continues and expressed appreciation for their support. The crowd chanted "U.S.A." while the White House motorcade arrived at the golf course earlier that morning.
