"The New York Times on Wednesday reported that the Department of Homeland Security has hired to its communications team the 21-year-old Peyton Rollins-formerly a digital content manager at the Labor Department, or the guy who created for the DOL Nazi-style posters with unsettling pro-American messaging; propaganda-riddled videos touting Trump's "Golden Age"; and the giant, menacing banner of Trump's face that unfurled over the department building in August (to name just a few examples)."
"Take a deeper look at Rollins' website, and you'll find various graphic posters the DOL's social media has shared since he joined the team in March-many of which combine 1920s-to-30s imagery with America-first messaging. On a famous painting of Washington crossing the Delaware, the White House font reads "PATRIOTISM, NOT GLOBALISM." In a portrait featuring a man with blonde hair and blue eyes is the message: "MAKE AMERICA SKILLED AGAIN!""
Peyton Rollins, 21, moved from the Labor Department to the Department of Homeland Security communications team. Rollins created graphic posters and videos that blend 1920s–30s visual styles with overt America-first messaging. Examples include a Washington crossing the Delaware poster reading "PATRIOTISM, NOT GLOBALISM," a portrait stating "MAKE AMERICA SKILLED AGAIN!," and a Lincoln Memorial image featuring a cluster of 11 stars and the message "Americanism will prevail." Coworkers and a public affairs official raised concerns about Confederate references and a typeface linked to problematic imagery. DHS issued no official personnel announcement despite Rollins' online listings.
