"What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things Americans have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent statement were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber for having listened to it. The statement was pretty much a word-for-word tirade ripped straight from the 1995 comedy Billy Madison, where a high school principal rebuked the titular character played by Sandler for using a fictitious children's book to explain the Industrial Revolution."
"A very important point I made @CNNThisMorning ICE is engaging in egregious, criminal behavior, violating peoples' civil rights, kidnapping, and snatching innocent men, women, and children off the streets, even detaining American citizens! While doing it, not identifying themselves, hiding their faces, not telling people why they are being taken. This is not normal! This is not American! This is not acceptable!"
Homeland Security's official Twitter account reposted a verbatim insult from the 1995 film Billy Madison on October 13, 2025, targeting Democratic strategist Maria Cardona. The tweet quoted a long, scathing line calling Cardona's remarks "one of the most insanely idiotic things Americans have ever heard" and stating listeners were "now dumber." Cardona accused ICE of engaging in egregious, criminal behavior, violating civil rights, kidnapping and detaining people, sometimes hiding identities. Cardona asserted that videotaping agents and loudly protesting does not constitute a violent attack and framed peaceful protest as a constitutional right.
