"I haven't heard the name in so long, Trump said when asked about Maxwell, adding that he'll have to look into it."
"Wait, so you don't remember Ghislaine, but you remember that we used to call Diddy Puff Daddy'? That was nine names ago!"
"All you had to do was mention someone else who was not convicted of sex crimes which is most people and you chose Diddy. And I want to remind everyone, we were gathered here to talk about a road in Alaska."
"I haven't heard the name in so long? Johnson said. She's not asking you about the Baha Men. You're over here being like, Who, who, who, who?"
President Donald Trump was asked about a possible pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking. Maxwell received a prison transfer after speaking with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche about her long relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. The FBI and DOJ released a memo asserting Epstein committed suicide and did not sex traffic for high-profile associates despite victim reports to the contrary. Trump said he had not heard Maxwell's name in a long time and noted that Sean Combs has also requested a pardon; Combs was recently sentenced to just over four years on transportation-for-prostitution counts. The apparent dodge and misremembering prompted public ridicule and replayed clips of his recent comments about Maxwell.
