Conservatives Blast DHS Over Claim Man Shot Was Armed Threat

DHS stated the man was armed, resisted attempts to be disarmed, possessed two magazines, had no ID, and that an agent fired defensive shots fearing for lives. DHS posted an image of the pistol and alleged intent to cause mass damage. Conservatives and Second Amendment activists questioned whether the suspect was a lawful gun owner and criticized a rush to judgment, while Minneapolis authorities indicated belief the suspect was a lawful gun owner.
