"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the CBS Evening News. My name is Tim Dillon. I want to first start by thanking Bari Weiss for giving me the opportunity to sit here with you at the iconic CBS News desk, began Dillon, who is a part of the so-called manosphere of alternative media podcasters. Dillon was dressed as an Orthodox Jewish man and had bagels and Manischewitz on his desk, while delivering a not-too-subtle rant about what he sees as Jewish influence over the media."
"We are not trying to come on here and spin and say, Hey, you anti-semite pigs, eat your slop. We're not trying to say that. We're trying to say the world is very big, and there's a lot of people that have a lot of opinions that need to be corrected. And here at CBS News, we are going to devote every waking minute of our day to correcting all of you, very nice, you are barely going to notice its happening."
Podcaster Tim Dillon released a parody presenting himself at the CBS News desk and thanking Bari Weiss amid reports she might lead CBS News. Dillon wore Orthodox Jewish clothing and placed bagels and Manischewitz on the desk while delivering a rant that referenced Jewish influence over the media. He thanked Paramount, investors, Bari, and the Free Press and promised "fearless, unbiased" coverage while mocking critics with language that included "anti-semite pigs." Dillon had recently said Saudi Arabia paid him to look the other way for a show, and the parody drew rapid criticism across the political spectrum, including from James Lindsay and Guy David.
