Border Patrol sector chief Gregory Bovino posted a photo of dozens of officers posing with the Hollywood sign visible behind them. The officers' faces were blurred, except for Bovino and one other, and the image drew criticism from local officials who labeled it a fear tactic using an iconic L.A. landmark. Bovino captioned the photo: "This is the team. They're the ones on the ground, making it happen," and added "The mean green team is not going anywhere. We are here to stay." The image included National Guard troops and a K9 unit. Bovino is expected to relocate to Chicago to oversee similar operations.
