Andrew Kolvet sharply criticized Jimmy Kimmel's return to his ABC show as an insincere, scripted performance. Kolvet accused Kimmel of attempting to blame Charlie Kirk's assassination on Trump supporters and of slandering conservatives for political advantage. Kolvet described Kimmel's tears as self-interested and highlighted the absence of a genuine apology to Trump supporters. Kolvet argued that voices on the left have fanned political violence for years and insisted that admitting falsehoods is necessary for any restoration. ABC and Disney suspended Kimmel on Sept. 17 over his Sept. 15 comment.
