Judge David Novak prohibited Lindsey Halligan from identifying as a U.S. Attorney in filings because she lacked proper Senate confirmation or appointment under 28 U.S.C. §546(d). Pam Bondi announced Halligan would leave the post after the court order. Halligan served without a criminal-law background and pursued federal prosecutions perceived as politically motivated on behalf of Donald Trump.
