Ana Navarro expressed her disapproval of President Trump's recent pardoning of Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were convicted of financial crimes. On The View, she highlighted the troubling implications of normalizing such actions, suggesting that it creates a precedent where pardons could be bought by political supporters. Navarro lambasted the profiteering behavior associated with Trump and his family's actions during his presidency. In contrast, Savannah Chrisley thanked Trump for the pardons, framing her parents' legal issues as a consequence of their conservative beliefs, and celebrating her father's call informing them of the decision.
Basically, there is a huge for sale sign on the lawn of the White House. If you are a supporter, if you are a donor, then you can buy pardons.
The profiteering we are seeing from Trump and his family, from the presidency, has no precedence and cannot be accepted or normalized by the American people.
I think one of the things we as Americans have to do is not normalize this and not get accustomed to this... This is not normal, this is not honest, this is not ethical.
If anyone knows what we're going through it's the president. The president was unjustly prosecuted and all the things that he has gone through, he sees the weaponization of our government agencies.
