Alyssa Farah Griffin Defends Kamala Harris From Extraordinarily Disrespectful' Biden Camp Attacks
"I am frustrated when people don't put their names to quotes, Griffin said. There's a blind quote, one from a Biden aide but not with their name attached, VP Harris was simply not good at the job. She had basically no substantive role in any of the administration's key work streams. She would just dive bomb into photo-ops and expose how out of depth she was.' That's ugly, replied Sunny Hostin."
"That's ugly, replied Sunny Hostin. To say that about the first female vice president, the sitting vice president that you served under when you service in the White House, you serve both the president and the vice president is extraordinarily disrespectful as far as I'm concerned. And if you're going to say it, put your name to it, said Griffin. Griffin's assertion drew applause from the audience."
"Ana Navarro added, I would say to my friends in team Biden, be careful clapping back and attacking Kamala because I think it reflects badly on Biden. Ultimately, he picked her. He picked her twice to run with him as vice president. And so I just don't think it serves anybody to have this kind of back and forth. And, also I mean, for me I think Democrats need to figure out how the hell they get out of the political wilderness"
A panelist defended Vice President Kamala Harris after anonymous Biden aides were quoted saying she was "not good at the job" and lacked substantive roles in key work streams. The panelist expressed frustration that critics would not put their names to such accusations and called anonymous attacks disrespectful. Another host labeled those comments "ugly" and "extraordinarily disrespectful," urging that critics be identified. Panelists warned that public internal attacks reflect poorly on President Biden, who chose Harris twice, and urged Democrats to pursue unity, accountability, and a focus on moving the country forward.
