The document outlined a plan to plant backpacks containing "complex pipe bombs" at five locations associated with two unnamed U.S. companies, with the devices intended to detonate simultaneously. Operation Midnight Sun allegedly included detailed instructions for constructing pipe bombs, producing black powder and avoiding detection, according to the affidavit."
