3 House Democrats withdraw their names from cosponsorship of new Trump articles of impeachment
Briefly

Three House Democrats withdrew their support for impeachment articles against President Trump due to a lack of approval from party leadership and concerns over legal vetting. Reps. Jerrold Nadler, Robin Kelly, and Kweisi Mfume opted out after realizing the resolution, filed by Rep. Shri Thanedar, was not formally vetted. Meanwhile, Rep. Jan Schakowsky remains a co-sponsor, asserting that Trump's actions violate the Constitution. Thanedar's filing includes seven articles related to a Supreme Court ruling on the repatriation of an alleged gang member, which he claims warrants impeachment.
Congressman Mfume removed himself from H. Res. 353 because he was made aware it was not cleared by Democratic leadership and not fully vetted legally - and he preferred to err on the side of caution.
The Congresswoman was under the impression that the resolution was drafted and reviewed by both the House Judiciary Committee and Leadership when she originally signed on during a vote series on the floor.
Donald Trump has already done real damage to our Democracy - but defying the unanimous 9-0 Supreme Court ruling? That has to be the final straw.
Some guy that I've never heard of... is he a congressman?
