Briefly

More than 10,000 pages of previously classified documents concerning Robert F. Kennedy's assassination have been made public following a directive from President Trump. These documents, previously stored at The National Archives, were released amid calls for greater transparency and trust in the government. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the late senator's son and current Health and Human Services Secretary, praised the release, emphasizing its importance for restoring public confidence and acknowledging Trump and Tulsi Gabbard's efforts in this declassification process. Kennedy was assassinated by Sirhan Sirhan in 1968 at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles.
"Lifting the veil on the RFK papers is a necessary step toward restoring trust in American government," said Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
"I commend President Trump for his courage and his commitment to transparency. I'm grateful also to Tulsi Gabbard for her dogged efforts to root out and declassify these documents."
The trove of files about the 1968 assassination, published at President Trump's directive, were previously sitting in storage at The National Archives.
