The Los Angeles Police Department identified decomposing remains found on September 8 in the boot of an impounded Tesla registered to singer David Anthony Burke as missing California 13-year-old Celeste Rivas. Authorities have not disclosed how or when she died. The Tesla had been taken to a Hollywood tow yard after being abandoned locally for five days, and police were contacted following reports of a foul odour; officials have not revealed who towed the car or where it was abandoned.
