Athlete of the Week voting covers performances from Nov. 3-8 with polls closing at 5 p.m. Wednesday and votes by email or after the deadline not counted. Artificial voting methods such as bots are prohibited and may result in disqualification or permanent suspension of the poll. Nominations are accepted at highschools@bayareanewsgroup.com until 11 a.m. each Monday, and stats submitted by coaches or team statisticians are reviewed. Winners are announced each Friday online and in print. Nominees include Chelsea Branley (20 kills, 15 digs, two aces), Victoria Cui (67, CCS individual champion), Cameron De La Chevrotiere (major assists and digs), and Shyla Paredes (goalie shutouts).
