US, UK gears up with Project Flytrap with anti-drone tech
Briefly

The US Army, in collaboration with British and NATO troops, is trialing Project Flytrap in Germany to improve counter-drone capabilities. This initiative responds to the threat posed by low-cost drones, emphasized during the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The trials utilize advanced technologies such as the Wingman drone detection system from MyDefence and the Pitbull jamming device. As every soldier needs to be trained in these countermeasures, the integration of various systems from different manufacturers poses challenges for effective battlefield deployment.
Every single soldier needs to be a counter UAS expert.
Each of these vendors, they come up with great ideas... and then when it comes to us, the warfighters, we have to incorporate a lot of different technology.
