Georgia will need to replace leading pass catcher Zachariah Branch and top tackler CJ Allen after both declared for the 2026 NFL draft. Branch transferred from USC and led the SEC with 81 catches for 811 receiving yards and six touchdowns; he is ranked by Mel Kiper Jr. as the No. 22 prospect and No. 4 receiver. Allen had 88 tackles, 3½ sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery, was a Butkus Award finalist and is ranked as the No. 3 off‑ball linebacker. Defensive tackle Christen Miller also declared, while decisions by starting tackles Monroe Freeling and Earnest Greene III remain pending.
