Pierce Clarkson, a UCLA backup quarterback, was arrested Friday on unspecified felony charges by the Los Angeles Police Department's Southwest Division. Bail was set at $30,000 and his first court hearing is scheduled for Oct. 3. Clarkson has been suspended indefinitely from all team activity pending the legal process and evaluation by the UCLA Office of Student Conduct under university policy. He did not appear on the field before UCLA's loss to Nevada Las Vegas. Clarkson joined UCLA this offseason after spending last spring at Mississippi and had played sparingly in two seasons at Louisville.
