Following a significant administration reshuffle, there is speculation around Stephen Miller, President Trump's policy adviser, stepping in as national security adviser after Mike Waltz's reassignment to the UN. Trump elevated Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the adviser role temporarily. Insiders note that Miller's hardline stances on immigration may align well with Trump's priorities, though some caution that the full-time demands of the role might not suit Miller's style. Other potential candidates for the role include Michael Anton and Sebastian Gorka, reflecting a competitive landscape for national security leadership.
He has been instrumental in the deportation effort and he and Rubio are aligned in stopping the cartels and the dictator regimes that they answer to, and he's probably the only one with the gravitas to actually finish the job.
Not only is he great in policy but he knows how to manage government on a day-to-day basis. And he works well with Rubio, specifically on immigration and terror threat in the western hemisphere.
