Sean Diddy Combs is awaiting sentencing that could impose up to 11 years in prison. The prosecution urged an 11-year sentence and noted that Combs booked a Miami speaking engagement next week, calling that action 'the height of hubris' and 'the opposite of the rule of law.' A jury in July found Combs guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and not guilty on racketeering conspiracy and two sex-trafficking charges. The defense plans to seek release as time served, requesting a 14-month sentence. Combs has been detained in Brooklyn for 13 months, making 14 months effectively time served.
