Boston police seek help identifying three men who allegedly cornered people outside stores and stole thousands by soliciting small charitable donations. The suspects reportedly pressured victims to pay by credit card, claiming to collect for a shot child or a recently deceased brother. One woman in a Whole Foods parking lot was forced to hand over her phone and card; a $15 shown charge was followed by an attempted $4,000 charge authorized by the suspects. The men were described as Black, 30–40 years old, one with "RED" tattooed above his left eyebrow and carrying a memorial brochure. Another similar encounter occurred outside a South Boston Walgreens.
