
"On Saturday, the Salem, New Hampshire fire department received a report of 12 passengers stuck on a ride around 11 p.m. The riders were stuck approximately 20 feet in the air on the Time Winder ride, the fire department says. The ride involves four arms spinning eight gondolas and can carry up to 32 people, according to Canobie Lake park's website. Firefighters were able to rescue all 12 riders without incident using the park's boom lift and the department's tower ladder truck, the department said."

Untamed, the park's newest roller coaster, involves climbing 72 feet before descending at a 97-degree angle. It has since reopened, the park website says. Both incidents happened during the amusement park's "Screeemfest" Halloween activities. Canobie Lake Park failed to respond to requests for comment in time for publication."
