Alicia Stone, a 13-year NYPD veteran in the Internal Affairs Bureau, died at age 40 in Cali, Colombia, one week after undergoing a Brazilian butt lift and liposuction. She was found unresponsive in her hotel room and rushed to Fundación Valle del Lili Hospital, where she was pronounced dead about an hour later from an "unspecified cardiac arrest." She was taking anticoagulants and pain medication while recovering at the hotel. Her husband, Michael Stone, reports receiving limited information and is seeking the facts. A detective has been dispatched to investigate the death. She is survived by her husband and three children.
