Noelia Voigt, the first Miss USA to resign, says she feels 'vindicated' after Miss Universe sued ex-pageant CEO Laylah Rose
"The facade is crumbling big time,"
"I don't need for them to get on their knees and apologize and beg for my forgiveness,"
"I understand that, when it came to my relationship with them, I was temporary. They had a long contract with Laylah, so, in terms of business, their loyalty was with her."
"I AM SILENCED."
Noelia Voigt resigned as Miss USA, describing her experience as taking a detrimental mental and emotional toll due to Laylah Rose's constant harassment. The Miss Universe Organization filed a lawsuit against VVV Global Ent., Rose's company, alleging that VVV created a toxic work environment and failed to provide prize packages for Miss USA and Miss Teen USA winners. Voigt and Miss Teen USA UmaSofia Srivatsava resigned in May 2024, and the family reported no contact from the organization afterward. Voigt seeks release from a restrictive nondisclosure agreement that has blocked career opportunities; Rose and organization lawyers declined to comment.
