A protester tore off his sunglasses, and the man pursued the demonstrator but fell and ground his face on the pavement. Demonstrators laughed and mocked him as he got up and continued running. A protester draped in an American flag then tripped him, causing another fall and a bleeding cut above his eye. The flag-clad protester, identified as 20-year-old Jose Cardenas, was arrested and faces second-degree assault charges; the injured man was not arrested. Video of the incident was captured and shared online.
