A Missouri couple prepared for a hospital birth after mild contractions began, and Birdsong phoned the hospital about overnight entrances. Twenty minutes into the drive her water broke and labor intensified rapidly. Nathan steered into a nearly deserted Buc-ee's parking lot at 3:15 a.m., and two pushes later the baby was born in his arms. The daughter weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was named Elaina Grace, and relatives nicknamed her "Little Buc-ee."
