Minnesota man posed as high schooler to play on football team
"White Bear Lake Area High School principal Russell Reetz wrote in a letter to parents that an adult person had provided fraudulent documentation and a false identity to enroll in the school. The school did not name the suspect, but KSTP identified him as 22-year-old Kevin Luebke. Luebke enrolled as a homeless unaccompanied youth under the false identity of Kevin C. Perry Jr., according to White Bear Lake Area School Superintendent Wayne Kazmierczak. He was enrolled from Sept. 3 to Sept. 29."
"Reetz added the person had been arrested and is banned from school property. Several students told KARE11 the man had been on the football team. Kazmierczak told KSTP he practiced with the team three times and did not play in any games. Minn. State Rep. Elliott Engen shared the roster with the station where the suspect was listed as a 17-year-old senior cornerback."
"When I found out, I was really shocked, Kasandra Kammueller, a junior at the high school, told KARE11. You've been with all these girls, talking to them, having them on Snapchat, and you're 22 in a high school. That's just so disgusting to me, and it just really made me feel off. According to CBS Minnesota, the suspect was convicted in 2023 for sending a nude photo of himself to a 15-year-old girl. White Bear Lake Police did not provide any details of their investigation."
