"Under US President Donald Trump's peace plan, some 200 US troops are set to be initially deployed to Israel to help enforce the ceasefire in Gaza between the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Hamas. Trump's plan also foresees a multinational task force to be deployed to the Gaza Strip. That task force will largely be made up of soldiers from Arab and Muslim countries, including Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates."

Under President Donald Trump's peace plan, roughly 200 US troops are to be initially deployed to Israel to help enforce a Gaza ceasefire between the Israel Defense Forces and Hamas. The plan foresees a multinational task force in Gaza made up largely of soldiers from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. CENTCOM oversees the Middle East, Central Asia and parts of South Asia.
