"Following an investigation by Property Auto Crime Unit detectives, Koghuch, 37, of Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, was arrested in Brooklyn on Thursday, February 19, police said. Koghuch was charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, police said. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday at First District Court in Central Islip. Detectives are asking anyone who believes they may have been a victim of Koghuch to contact Property Auto Crime Unit detectives at 631-852-6429."
On November 12, 2025, a 2023 Ford F-150 was sold for $30,000 via social media to a woman who later attempted to register the vehicle and was notified it had been reported stolen. The pickup truck had been reported stolen in Alabama on October 5, 2025. Following an investigation by Property Auto Crime Unit detectives, Yuriy Koghuch, 37, of Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, was arrested in Brooklyn on February 19 and charged with third-degree grand larceny. He was scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip. Detectives request that anyone who believes they may have been a victim contact the Property Auto Crime Unit at 631-852-6429.
