Majorities in key U.S. allies have no confidence in Trump's global leadership
Briefly

A recent Pew Research Center survey reveals widespread dissatisfaction with President Trump's leadership in world affairs among citizens of key U.S. allies, including France, Germany, and Japan. Over half the respondents from 15 of 24 countries expressed a lack of confidence in Trump, citing his perceived arrogance and dangerousness. The survey indicates a desire for a more collaborative U.S. approach to global issues, contrasting with Trump's America First agenda and withdrawal from international agreements, particularly on climate change, which has further eroded perceptions of U.S. leadership abroad.
In fact, recent polls show the president's approval rating stands at about 43%.
People in 15 of 24 countries downgraded their ratings of the U.S., according to the survey of more than 28,000.
