Anthony Joshua made weight at 243.4 pounds (110kg) under the 245-pound limit for his bout with Jake Paul. Joshua normally fights around 250 pounds and this was his lightest since he dropped to 240 pounds for his first heavyweight title fight against Oleksandr Usyk in September 2021. Jake Paul weighed 216 pounds (98kg), more than 12.7kg lighter than Joshua and above his usual cruiserweight limit of 91kg (200 pounds). Paul taunted Joshua at the weigh-in, claiming Joshua was nervous and predicting an upset. Joshua remained composed and said his talent and seriousness would outclass Paul.
