"He was driving them crazy. Oklahoma motorists were absolutely astonished as they witnessed a prisoner, half-dressed and hanging out what appeared to be a broken window of a Department of Corrections van. The inmate was spotted on I-40 near the Skydance Bridge in Oklahoma City, with half of his body out of the back window, handcuffed and wearing orange prison pants while waving the shirt around."
"But it was no joke, as the Oklahoma Department of Corrections later confirmed to KFOR: During a routine transport, an inmate damaged the vehicle and was seen hanging out the back window. Our officers immediately recognized the situation, exited the highway and called for additional law enforcement support. The inmate was safely secured and transported without further incident. The Oklahoma Department of Corrections remains committed to transparency, accountability and ensuring the safety of all individuals in our care and all Oklahomans."
