Kaillie Humphries Armbruster and brakewoman Emily Renna won a World Cup two-woman bobsled race in Sigulda, Latvia, marking Humphries Armbruster's first victory since Feb. 18, 2023, and her first since becoming a mother. Humphries Armbruster held her son Aulden on the podium. The win was Renna's first World Cup gold as a brakewoman and her third World Cup medal overall. The victory was Humphries Armbruster's 31st two-woman World Cup win, 35th World Cup gold including monobob, and 43rd career win counting Olympics and world championships. The result ended a 20-race German winning streak in the two-woman event and provided momentum for U.S. women heading toward the Olympics.
