Group stranded with Ice in Djibouti shipping container after removal from US
Briefly

Eight deportees and 13 ICE officers are stranded in Djibouti after a court stopped their planned deportation to South Sudan. While at a US naval base, both groups fell ill with suspected bacterial upper respiratory infections, exacerbated by extreme temperatures and limited living conditions. MELISSA Harper from the DHS noted the detainees are confined to a converted shipping container with inadequate sleeping arrangements. Concerns over safety were also raised, as officers were informed of potential rocket attacks from Yemeni terrorists shortly after their arrival.
"The detainees are being held in a shipping container that was previously converted into a conference room, with very limited sleeping quarters for ICE staff."
"Upon arrival in Djibouti, officers were warned by US Department of Defense officials of imminent danger of rocket attacks from terrorist groups in Yemen."
