FBI agents searched the Virginia home of Washington Post reporter Hannah Natanson and seized a phone, two laptops and a Garmin watch. The search was part of a Justice Department leak probe into a Pentagon contractor accused of taking home classified information. The Post was told Natanson and the newspaper are not targets of the probe, and executive editor Matt Murray described the action as deeply concerning and raising questions about constitutional protections. Attorney General Pam Bondi said the search was done at the Defense Department's request and accused the journalist of obtaining and reporting classified, illegally leaked information. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt warned that leaking classified information endangers national security and that the administration will crack down on such acts.
