"The hardest part about being a sextuplet for me is my individuality. I strive for it every day because I feel like anyone who knows us or meets us puts us in a box. It's like, 'Oh, there are the sextuplets - there are the Masches' - always categorizing us as one thing when we are all so different."
""We're just so blessed," McClendon, 51, tells TODAY.com. "God has really taken care of us.""
The Masche sextuplets—Savannah, Bailey, Molli, Grant, Cole, and Blake—are 18 and preparing to graduate high school while moving beyond the collective label that has followed them. Each sibling is pursuing distinct plans and interests: Savannah will study Arabic at the University of Arkansas with hopes of joining the FBI, and Bailey will play soccer and study Biblical studies at Ouachita Baptist University. The family moved from Arizona to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Parents Jenny and Levi McClendon have expanded the household with two younger sons, Cash (13) and Walker (9), alongside Levi's two adult sons from a previous marriage.
