Evening Commute Will Be Affected By Hoboken Train Station Fire: Officials

"At 11:28 a.m., Port Authority police and the Hoboken Fire Department responded to a track fire. The PATH (Port Authority Trans Hudson) lines run under the regular train station. The station was evacuated, and no injuries were reported, said a Port Authority spokesperson."

"The Hoboken Fire Department responded to the PATH Station inside of Hoboken Terminal on reports of a smoke condition. A small fire was discovered in the tunnel and quickly extinguished."

"As repairs are made, the lines from Hoboken to 33rd Street and Hoboken to the World Trade Center will remain suspended. PATH is operating service between 33rd Street and WTC to accommodate transfers at Newport for NJ Transit light rail service."
