The Houston Texans signed defensive end Danielle Hunter to a one-year, $40 million contract extension, his second deal with the team since joining as a free agent in March 2024. Hunter's 2025 season was exceptional, recording 15.0 sacks (third in NFL), 15 tackles for loss, and earning second-team All-Pro honors. The Texans defense ranked second in scoring and total defense.
