Jacob Henriques, a former assistant admissions director at Emmanuel College, was arrested for attempting to solicit sex from underage applicants. Charged with attempted sex trafficking of a minor, he used his access to student information to contact young women, offering payment in exchange for sexual acts. Emmanuel College expressed its outrage upon discovering his actions and terminated his employment immediately. According to prosecutors, Henriques reached out to multiple victims, including a 17-year-old, sending pornographic material and persistently contacting them despite refusals.
Prosecutors allege that Mr. Henriques used information obtained through his position to contact at least four underage students, soliciting them for sex.
Emmanuel College stated it was "saddened, angered and shocked" by the allegations and promptly terminated Mr. Henriques after notifying law enforcement.
