He began the round on the back nine and was even-par through 11 holes before the ace. His first recorded hole-in-one occurred in December at the 2024 PNC Championship while playing with his father, Tiger, on a 176-yard par-three. The 16-year-old has had a strong season, qualifying for the US Junior Amateur in July and finishing tied for ninth at the Junior PGA, narrowly missing Junior Ryder Cup qualification.
