Cause of Death Revealed for Annabelle Doll Handler Dan Rivera
"Rivera, 54, died July 13, 2025 of natural causes as a result of heart issues, according to a press release from the Adams County Coroner's Office obtained by TODAY.com. "Mr. Rivera had a known history of cardiac issues, which were consistent with the findings," said Adams County Coroner Francis Dutrow in a statement. Dutrow also confirmed the Annabelle doll, which is rumored to be possessed by evil spirits, "was not present in the room" at the time of Rivera's passing."

The tour honors the work of the group's founders, supernatural investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and features displays of allegedly haunted artifacts from the Warrens' Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut. As part of the tour, the infamous Annabelle doll, a red-headed Raggedy Ann doll, was making a visit to Gettysburg when Rivera died."
